It’s hard to believe summer is coming to an end and fall is right around the corner! You know what that means… It’s time for the Long Bros. Annual Tent Sale! Join us starting September 8th for our week long tent sale! There will be some great items out there this year and all items are on sale while supplies last, so grab what you want before their gone!
As we see fall starting, we also see many customers working on some great fall projects! Gutters are one of the bigger projects we see people working on. We have a variety of products in stock to help repair or replace gutters on your home or shop. Metal gutter is available in galvanized or white and we also carry a vinyl gutter system in two different shapes. All you need to do is bring in a drawing of what you’re working on and we can help you find the parts and pieces to get your project complete. It’s also a good time to get those gutters cleaned out and to cover them with a gutter guard if you live in an area that has trees that drop those pesky leaves and needles into the gutter. We have several styles here to help with those problems as well.
It is also a good time of year to make sure that your roof is repaired and in good condition for the upcoming fall and winter weather. For your composition home roofs it is important to make sure that everything is securely fastened. If you see a shingle that looks questionable, we have the supplies needed to fix and repair an issues to avoid any possible roof leaks over the winter.
Fall is an excellent time to work on exterior painting projects. We should have another month or more of nice weekend weather that should include comfortable temperatures to complete your paint projects. We have some great new colors in our paint center from Valspar and Clark & Kensington. Have a color that you want to match? We just got in our brand new color matching system and can now measure as small as the end of a pencil eraser, so grab your samples and bring them in, we’ll color match what you have and help you pick out the right paint for your project. It’s show time again and Larry & Lorie will be headed to Orlando to attend the Ace Hardware show. It’s always exciting to see what’s new out in the market for next spring! With summer just ending, it’s hard to believe we have to start thinking about next spring and it’s not even Christmas yet! They will be searching for great new items to add to the store while they are there. The shows are always a great way for us to find out the hot new products that are coming to the marketplace.
